Scroons is being designed around companionship without surveillance. This page describes what the public site and downloadable Window Habitat study do today—not what a future product merely promises.

The site currently publishes information and a downloadable interaction study. It does not contain a form that sends personal information to Scroons. Standard hosting infrastructure may still process basic request information needed to deliver and protect a webpage; we will name the permanent host and its role before public launch.

There is no account, email form, advertising profile, or public waitlist on this version of the site.

Window Habitat stays on your device.
The downloadable study runs as a local HTML file. If you give the creature a nickname, that simple state stays in your browser storage and is not sent to Scroons.

Leaving should be easy.
Delete the downloaded file whenever you like. You can remove its nickname by clearing local storage for the file in your browser.

A future waitlist will be a separate choice.
Before collecting an email address, we will publish the purpose, consent language, retention period, deletion path, processors, and monitored contact responsible for it.
A deliberate boundary
The waitlist is not open yet.
We will not quietly turn a decorative email box into data collection. The future waitlist will open only after its consent, confirmation, retention, deletion, support, and incident procedures are approved and visible.
